The mission of the Human Resources Department is to work with and assist all town departments in the selection, hiring, evaluation, promotion, training, and development of town employees dedicated to serving the residents of Merrillville. Another priority for HR is attracting, supporting, retaining, and developing the diverse talent needed to achieve the Town’s vision.  HR is also committed to fostering a work ethic that displays respect, cooperation, and fairness.
