Keep up with social distancing and refrain from gathering in large groups.

Remember to complete your 2020 Census!
As you know the Census helps in the distribution of Federal Funding for State and Local Government like Grants.  It helps to forecast future transportation needs of our community, helps in determining areas for housing assistance, the need to design facilities for persons with disabilities, helping to improve neighborhoods.  The information is used to also plan for new schools and hospitals, and helps to determine the number of seats that each state will have in the US House of Representatives.

Mission Statement
Strive to enhance the quality of life of our Merrillville Residents and fellow citizens by expanding availability of leisure and recreational services and promoting a clean and healthy environment.
